Hip Hop music today is flooded with talented young rappers who strive hard to be the next big name in the game. Most are creative and witty with punch lines and flow but fall short when it comes to style and content. Not saying that they don't make good music but most of the time it all sounds the same. This is why the artist and entrepreneur Mr.RE decided to start his own Record label. His goal is to add insight and help bring balanced back in hip hop.
The New York City emcee was born in Harlem and raised in the Boggie Down Bronx's infamous Forest Projects. Home to well known artist, Lord Finesse and Fat Joe.
Inspired by all music but when it comes to Hip Hop he's influenced by Rakim, KRS ONE, B.D.Kane, GangStar, Wu Tang, Nas, Canibus, Jay-Z, and Eminem just name a few.
He started writing in 2002 and started recording in 2004.
In a short period of time Mr.RE has evolved into one of Hip Hop's extraordinary lyrical MCs of our day. With thoughtful lyrics, intense delivery and rough but smooth vocal tones, Mr.RE creates a diverse abstract sound for listeners with open minds.
