Coming up in Yonkers as a child var wasn’t really into rap for the meaning and art behind he just paid attention to the beat and not really what was being said. I wasn’t until about 98 when someone close to var the rapper known as DMX blew up because var knew and was close to X var took an interest and actually listened to what was being said. Idolizing X to some extent not wanting to be exactly like him but enjoying X’s music var tried freestyling with some friends who noticed for a first timer he was pretty good so for some years he just would freestyle with friends for fun then he decided he wanted to make some songs and he started making songs with the strong support of his cousin artist J Streetz and MR RE the founder of Nu Element Records which Var is currently a part of.
